The Root

There are many names for the Root across many religions. It is most commonly known as heaven, Yggdrasil, The Tao as well as the Akashic Record. Though no name can capture the true essence of what The Root is and words alone are unable to truly represent its magnificence or power.

The Root is the source of all souls as well as the primordial source from where magic and deities draw their power from. It is the Root from which the Primordial Gods who built the universe came from and it is the force that guides the world whether we are aware of it or not.

One way to understand the Root is through how it affects our day to day lives. One such way is through a persons Origin. An origin is a latent driving force that exists within all individuals. Origins are abstract and because of this can’t be entirely understood with words alone.

An origin is unique to each individual and can be understood to some extent by a certain phrase. An example of this is “He is death incarnate.” or “She could never sleep while others suffered.” Even simple phrases like “He was born to fix problems.” can have different meanings depending on the person. For one person it can mean that they will become a great mechanic for another it can mean fixing relationship and emotional problems.
