Japan has a rich history. Whether it be its culture, honourable and might warriors, its Kami (Gods), or its Youkai, Japan is a country that provides a lot of interesting beliefs to explore.
Youkai
The term refers to many various creatures in Japanese Folklore and mythology and can refer to any manner of demons, ghosts, monsters or powerful creatures that are found in tales from Japan. Their behaviour, like their kinds, are various ranging from brutal Oni that could slaughter and devour villages on a whim like the terrifying Shuten Doji to simple pranksters like the Tanuki.
