Spells and Rituals are an important part of Mage craft. They are the way we invoke the Divine to affect the world. It is through them that we assert our will to change the world.
An important aspect of spell casting is the use of words. When it comes to Mage craft the words you use and the emotion behind them play an important roll in the success of a spell. As long as there is emotion and belief behind the words it doesn’t matter whether it is a spell that has been around for years or something you came up with in a month. Though history does help.
